Florent AMODIO

Okay. I love the way GOD gives us "opps" to see talent and truly appreciate it.  Again the converter box comes into play and this time it wasn't anything asian. This time it was the sports channel. Yes. I may not be a sports fan. You know football and all that. But I do like to see a good ice skater with pizzazz!Yes. I have to admit I got caught up in the Evan Lysacek - Johnny Weir battle. For the record I do like them both but Johnny is a bit "out there". I've chosen not to judge, and sometimes I do think he is a bit much. But what the hell. As long as no one's being harmed or killed in the process than I'm alright with it!
I love the way I stray from a topic then somehow veer right back. We've had the noteworthy Ice skaters such as Brian Orser, Scott Hamilton. Brian Boitano and the latest one that had caught my eye  Daisuke Takahashi..He's my tangent back to my asian theme because when I saw him skate I was just mesmorized. He was truly a sight to behold. And plus his smile was gleamimg porcelain.
Well now a new talent has come my way and again it was to my eyes an accidental siting. But in GOD'S eyes obviously intentional!

DAISUKE TAKAHASHI

Now there's an incredible new talent that has just "Blown me away". His name! FLORENT AMODIO. GOD popped him on to my tv and I was just caught like a deer in headlights when I saw him skate. . He skated to the tunes of "Black eyed Peas", Taio Cruz, Lisa Gerard and of course the great Michael Jackson.
The routine I saw was sheer genius. His 20 year old soul was in full swing He commanded the ice and the routine, and when Michael Jackson came on his soulful "SWIGSWAG" was exposed. He pulled the audience in! He Enthralled.  He leaped. He lunged. He gyrated. He grooved! He was the equivalent of a flowing fluid sexy ice sculpture! And knowing that he had done an excellent routine not only translated into the scores,. It was apparent by the hug he exchanged with his coach that this had been something they had both worked hard for!

ADOMIO WAS BORN IN BRAZIL BUT RAISED IN FRANCE. HE STARTED SKATING AT THE RIPE OL' AGE OF 4

SERIOUS ICE GROOVIN'
